With over a decade of experience, we handle the "heavy lifting" so you don't have to.
Bradway Premier Removals is a Sheffield removal company that covers Doncaster from our depot in Lowedges. We have no Doncaster office, and we would rather say so. Every crew drives the 25 miles from there and reaches the city on the M18.
Junction 3 brings us in along White Rose Way for the city centre, Balby and the newer homes around Lakeside. Junction 4 at Armthorpe serves the east side, and moves to the west follow the A630 across the A1(M) at Warmsworth towards Conisbrough.
Areas we cover include:
the city centre and Balby
Bessacarr and Cantley
Armthorpe and the Lakeside developments
Bawtry and Tickhill
Hatfield and Thorne
Mexborough and Conisbrough
Every house removal in Doncaster is priced after a free survey and confirmed in a free written quote, so you know the cost before you book. On the day, the crew wraps your furniture in quilted covers, lays protection over the floors in both homes, then loads, drives and unloads. Standard furniture is taken apart and rebuilt for you.
Want the boxes done for you too? Add our packing service to the same quote.
Much of Doncaster’s older housing sits on terraced streets in Balby, Hexthorpe and Bentley, where parking is on the road and the lorry may have to stop a few doors down. We plan that longer carry at the survey, so it is built into the price and the timings from the start.
For smaller moves in Doncaster, we send a driver and one crew member with a Luton or panel van. It suits a studio or one-bedroom flat, a single sofa or washing machine, or a part-load when only some of your things need to go now.
The van comes from the same Lowedges base as our man and van Sheffield service. Jobs are charged hourly or as a half-day booking, with the price confirmed in writing first. If there are stairs and no lift, we can send a second helper.
Desks, files and IT equipment moved for Doncaster businesses, planned around your opening hours.
Double-walled boxes for heavy and fragile items, wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes, and paper and bubble wrap supplied with every packing job.
Emptying a property for a sale, a tenancy handover or after a death in the family, done carefully and quietly.
Loft clutter, garden waste and old white goods taken away before moving day by our licensed waste carriers, so less goes on the lorry.
Leaving Doncaster for somewhere further afield? One crew loads, drives and unloads at the other end.
Survey. We look round your home or join you on a video call, at no cost.
Quote in writing. You see the full price before you commit.
Parking plan. We agree where the lorry will stop at both ends, and whether the council needs to grant a dispensation.
Packing, if booked. Done ahead of the move so loading can start straight away.
Moving day. The crew drives in from Lowedges, loads, makes the trip and unloads into the rooms you choose.
Final check. We walk round with you before we leave.
A few council jobs to sort before moving day make the move itself quicker:
Unwanted furniture. City of Doncaster Council runs bulky item collections for furniture, appliances and some DIY waste, with separate bookings for fridges and freezers. Fewer items to move can mean a smaller quote.
Recycling runs. The council has six household waste recycling centres across the borough, free to use for household recycling and waste.
Council Tax. Let the council know when you move into, within or out of the Doncaster area. Tenants stay liable until their tenancy ends, so check your notice dates. You can report your change of address online.
Conisbrough and Mexborough are neighbouring towns in the west of the Doncaster borough, with Denaby Main between them. By road, Conisbrough is about 18 miles from Lowedges and Mexborough about 19, so both are nearer to us than central Doncaster.
We cover house removals, packing and smaller van jobs in both towns. A move between here and Doncaster itself is a short run along the A630, which passes Conisbrough Castle on its way into the city. Both towns use the same council services as Doncaster, so the local tips above apply here too. Moving on from either town to a neighbouring borough? See Removals Rotherham and Removals Barnsley for those moves.
Moving between Doncaster and another town near Doncaster? We cover these from the same depot:

Only if the lorry has to stop on yellow lines, in a loading bay or in another restricted space. In that case City of Doncaster Council issues a parking dispensation, currently £16.50 per vehicle per day, and the application has to reach the council at least three working days before the move. We check the parking at each end during the survey and sort out any permit the move needs.
Usually, yes, but we check first. On newer estates, including those around Lakeside, access roads can be narrow and parking may be in shared courts or on shared drives. If the lorry cannot reach your door, we plan the carry and include it in your quote.
Book two to four weeks ahead for most moves, and allow longer for a weekend, a month-end completion or a summer date. A parking dispensation adds a few working days, so mention any yellow lines when you first get in touch. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, so ring 0114 322 1554 to check the diary.
Yes. With full packing, the team comes the day before the move and packs every room, marking each box with the room it goes to, and all materials are included in the price. You can book fragile-only packing for glassware, mirrors and pictures instead, or order boxes and tape and do it yourself. Unpacking at the new address can be added when you ask for your quote.
We go through each room to see what is moving and note large items that need taking apart. We also check stairs, lifts and doorways at both addresses, and ask about packing and your dates. Your quote is based on what we find, so it reflects the real job.
Send us your moving date and both addresses, or call 0114 322 1554 or 07770 585 521 to talk it through.
